Alena started playing with Mirko Škampa from the Elementary Art school in Prague 4 and later Alena became a student of Kateřina Hroníková from the Elementary Art school of Jan Hanuš. From 2010 until 2016 Alena studied cello at Prague conservatory as a student of Jaroslav Kulhan. She's an absolvent of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she studied under Mikael Ericsson.
Alena participated in many national and international competitions. For example: National competitions of the Elementary Art schools in Czech Republic (3rd and 1st place), Prague Junior Note (1st place), Violoncello competition of Jan Vychytil (1st and 2nd place), Heran violoncello competition (2nd place), Liezen international violoncello competition (two times 3rd place), competitions of conservatories in Czech Republic (2nd and 3rd place).
She's part of the Academy of Czech Philharmonic. Alena has been a student of summer masterclasses of Michaela Fukačová at the czech-french Academy in Telč and also of Emirhan Tunci at Music Master Courses in Dobřichovice. She was twice at the masterclass of Jiří Bárta. Alena and her string quartet won 1st place at the competition „Talents for Europe“ in Dolný Kubín.
