Education

Ludmila Pavlová studied at the Gymnazium of Jan Neruda and later at the Prague conservatory in the class of prof. Pavel Kudelásek. Currently is studying at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Prague with Prof. Ivan Štraus and Prof. Pavel Šporcl and she got the stipendium at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. Jan Pospíchal. In the year 2020 she appeared on concerts in Great Britain with pianist Alissa Firsova and played her debut concert in Musikverein with Maxmilián Khevenhüller.

Achievements

In 2006, 2007 and 2009 she won 1st place in the Violin Competition with the international participation of J. Muzika in Nová Paka. In 2007 she made her debut in the Prague Rudolfinum with Josef Suk as part of the concert series "Josef Suk presents young talents". In 2020, she became the absolute winner of the International Violin Competition of Váša Příhoda "New European Talents" and the laureate of the Bohuslav Martinů Competition with the best interpretation prize and she also won the prize of Jaroslav and Zorka Zichovi Foundation. In June 2019, she won a gold medal with high honors at the 4th International Music Competition in Manhattan.

Current activities

Ludmila collaborates with pianists from all over the world, such as Alissa Firsová, Magda Amara, Marcin Sikoský or Maximilian Kevenhüller, but also with cellist Michal Kaňka and other renowned artists. In 2017, she launched the 1. year of her own festival Podkrkonošské hudební léto and released her debut CD with pianist Stanislav Gallin. In addition to her solo career, Ludmila is a member of the Mucha trio (with Johanna Haniková and Anna Paulová).
