He studied at Jirkov Music School with dr. Luboš Hána, mainly focused on folk and jazz guitar. In adulthood, he studied jazz guitar with Marek Rejhon. He took part in a masterclass in Baroque guitar under the guidance of Spanish master Daniel Zapico. He graduated from the Faculty of Education of Palacký University in Olomouc.
He has been in a jury at several competitions (Les Cles d'Or, Dětská Porta etc.) and organized the Rotunda folk festival. He is the head of several successful children's music bands. He regularly performs at various events such as chamber club concerts or festivals. Occasionally, he devotes himself to the interpretation of early music, such as Sephardic songs.
He currently teaches Czech language and music at both elementary and high schools. He has been teaching guitar and ukulele for 15 years, teaching all acoustic styles. You can hear him in the folk-jazz band DOTmy, in the history group Ginevra or in the ballroom band Pickles.
